October 3, 2013 - From Zurich to Houston

We had to get up around 4:30AM to catch 5:02AM train to Zurich Airport.  To be sure, we checked and asked a couple days earlier about the train station platform number and train schedules to airport from Zurich HB to Zurich airport around 5AM.  To our surprise that they changed the platform for the S (slow) train to the airport.  We also had some issue of purchasing tickets via the automatic ticket machine.  Luckily, we got it thru and was able to get to Zurich airport without delay.  There was no problem in Frankfurt airport for transfer either.  We did have to walk a long distance between terminal A and Z, however, we had sufficient time.  Again, there were a lot of movie watching on the fight back which helped us to pass time pretty easily.  We finally got to Houston safe and sound around 2:30PM.

Overall, this is a very pleasant trip and we did learn a lot about Croatia regarding its history, architecture, culture, and scenery.  It is a very rewarding trip.
